A Pilot Intervention to Increase Women's Coping Skills in Family Reintegration After Deployment in Combat Areas

Abstract

This study had two specific aims: 1) to document specific challenges and facilitatorsinvolved in family reintegration for women in the National Guard and Reserves who haverecently returned from deployment; and 2) to develop and pilot test a telephone-deliveredcoping/support intervention using the theoretical framework of the Resiliency Model of FamilyStress.
