Overcoming the Practical Barriers to Spinal Cord Cell Transplantation for ALS

Abstract

This project was part of an Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Research Program - Therapeutic Development Award with a 3-year period of performance. An Extension With-Out Funds (EWOF) was granted in Year 4 for the continuation of data analysis. Due to the volume of generated material and the complexity of methodologies applied, data analysis is still ongoing and final conclusions pertaining to Aim 2 have been delayed.
