An Attempt to Scale Reynolds in Pressure Gradient Turbulent Boundary Layer

Abstract

The paper presents the attempt to modify the scaling proposed by Alfredsson et al. (2012) in order to obtain collapse in pressure gradient flows. The data used in the analysis come from the experiment performed for the pressure gradient conditions representative for practical turbo machinery flows, where sudden change from favourable (FPG) to APG occurs (Drd and Elsner 2013).
