Cyber Test Form Development and Follow-On Cyber Applications

Abstract

The current project to develop the Cyber Test represents a continuation of the previous work on the Information-Communication Technology Literacy (ICTL) test. The ICTL test was designed to predict success in entry-level training in cyber-related military occupations. Previous research on the ICTL test showed it was and is successful in this regard (Russell and Sellman, 2009, 2010; Trippe and Russell, 2011). The goals of this project are to (a) update and expand the Cyber Test item bank, (b) pilot test the items in an operational setting, and (c) develop additional parallel test forms.
