Nanoscale Optical Imaging and Spectroscopy from Visible to Mid-Infrared

Abstract

The PIs completed the acquisition of a nanoscale optical imaging and spectroscopy system with extremely broadspectral capability spanning the ultraviolet to the near-infrared. The equipment provides new capabilities of simultaneously obtaining high-resolution images and conducting spectroscopy on a wide variety of nanoscale ormolecular materials. By providing far-field characterization of nanoscale materials, it also complements the nearfieldscanning optical microscope currently available in the PIs lab.
