Automatic Vetting for Malice in Android Platforms

Abstract

In Mobile App Security Testing, Dynamic Analysis is needed to deal with certain malware features that reveals itself only at runtime. Dynamic analysis requires a set of inputs to trigger potential malicious targets during the runtime, so that malware can be exposed. In order to generate the inputs (as a sequence of events for Android Apps), we have developed two software tools: JITANA and APEX which are presented and included in this final project report.
