U.S. Workshop on the Physics and Chemistry of II-VI Materials (a.k.a. II-VI Workshop) - ARO Research Area 9: Materials Science - Physical Properties of Materials
Abstract
The 2014 IIVI Workshop was successfully held from October 20 October 23, 2014 at the Sheraton Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore, MD. The Workshop was attended by a total of 109 scientists from Academia, Government Labs, and Industry both nationally and internationally. There was a total of 52 presentations. Students contributed 32 of the total number of presentations. The $10K funds provided under Army Research Office under Grant W911NF1410544 was used to support University student travel totaling $7,500 and to cover the advance program, abstract book, and call for papers, which were given to each attendee of the Workshop, totaling $2,500.
