Porosity Formation and Microleakage of Composite Resins Using the Snowplow Technique

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the porosity and microleakage within a posterior composite restoration when a restorative composite (Filtek Supreme, 3M/ESPE) is placed incrementally or in bulk into a proximal-box preparation with or without light curing of a flowable-composite liner (Esthet-X Flow, Dentsply).
