University Engineering Design Challenge

Abstract

In each of the previous three years (2012, 2013, and 2014) a small group of senior engineering students from Brigham Young University (BYU) were selected to compete in the AFOSR Engineering Design Challenge. The teams were part of BYU's Capstone Program. As such, each team participated in two semesters of engineering design courses; the first of which was generic, and the second of which was tailored to their specific project. Each team was coached by an industry professional working as an adjunct professor. A detailed report was prepared by each team and is included as appendices to this document.
