CASS Manpower Analysis

Abstract

The Navy is in the process of establishing new Naval Enlisted Codes (NECs) for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) operators. The Navy has developed personnel requirements for the initial cadre of bench operators and maintainers. However, with the introduction of new NECs, the manpower requirement for the old NECs may not be valid, and the manning requirement for the new NECs has not yet been determined. PMA205 tasked the Center for Naval Analyses (CNA) to develop these requirements based on current CASS maintenance data.
