Effect of Water Vapor Pressure on Fatigue Crack Growth in Al-Zn-Cu-Mg Alloy Over Wide-Range Stress Intensity Factor Loading

Abstract

The object of this research is to broaden understanding of the deleterious effect of high purity water vapor on fatigue crack growth rate (da/dN) in aluminum alloy 7075-T651, with focus on the low da/dN regime.
