Evaluation of Defense Hotline Allegations at the Defense Contract Audit Agency Santa Barbara Suboffice

Abstract

Objective: We reviewed Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) San Fernando Valley Branch Office (Branch Office) Santa Barbara Suboffice (Suboffice) audit documentation for 19 audit assignments and 1 paid voucher review identified by the complainant in the allegations. During the review, we visited the Suboffice and interviewed the complainant, auditors, supervisors, and managers to assess whether the problems identified concerning the performanceof audit work existed.
