Abstract

Israels security has significant relevance for U.S. interests in the Middle East, and Congress plays an active role in shaping and overseeing U.S. relations with Israel. This report focuses on the following: Recent dynamics in U.S.-Israel relations and security cooperation; Addressing regional threats Israel perceives, including via a new memorandum of understanding on U.S. military aid to Israel; Current domestic political issues; Some Israeli-Palestinian developments.
