The Structure of Task Oriented Dialogs

Abstract

The discourse and task information in task oriented dialogs and their use in a speech understanding system are discussed in this paper. The results of analyzing some task oriented dialogs are given. A preliminary model of the structure of these dialogs and heuristics for building and using it in a speech understand system are presented.
