Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)

Abstract

The mission of the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Project Office (PO) is to define, develop, acquire, field and sustain the Armys portion of the Joint IAMD System of Systems capability to be deployed as integrated components in Army, Joint, Interagency, Inter-Governmental and Multi-National net-centric architectures. Additionally, the IAMD PO will develop, acquire, field and sustain the IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS) component of the architecture and integrate externally developed sensors and shooters to provide an effective IAMD capability.
