Network Science Center Research Teams Visit to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Abstract

A Network Science Center research team demonstrated a network analysis tool kit to the Political andEconomic Sections at the US Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This rigorous quantitative analysis packageprovides the capability to assist decision makers with policy development. Additionally, the team refined a datacollection methodology that will allow the development of local network topologies. In Ethiopia, the teamfocused on the local entrepreneurial environment and collected data from local small business owners.
