Harsh Climates, Poor Transportation, And Irregular Warfare: Logistical Difficulties From Napoleon To The Soviet - Afghan War That Affect Operational Campaigns
Abstract
Ever since Napoleon Bonaparte ushered in a new style of warfare unleashed by the French Revolution and continuing on with advances in technology into the modern era, logistics has played a crucial role in operational campaigns.
