Implementation of Sensor Twitter Feed Web Service Server and Client

Abstract

Many social media platforms have been introduced in recent years. The Sensor Twitter Feed Web Service was developed using the RESTful web service architecture to research how a social media platform can be leveraged to disseminate Army-relevant information across complex networks. The core of the Sensor Twitter Feed Web Service leverages Twitters Web Service application programming interface (API) to access Twitter. This report describes the system overview, Twitter API authentication, usage information, and limitations.
