Hydrodynamical Description of Stellar Motions

Abstract

In the study of the structure of our galaxy and of the stars contained in it one encounters the problem of the space and velocity distributions of stars belonging to various sets. Of greatest theoretical interest are those investigations which deal with sets whose members are selected on the basis of such intrinsic attributes as luminosity or spectral characteristics.
