2016 Service Academy Gender Relations Survey: Overview Report

Abstract

This report provides results of the 2016 Service Academy Gender Relations Survey conducted by the RSSC within the Office of People Analytics. This survey is eighth of a series of surveys mandated by U.S. Code 10. It assesses the incidence of unwanted sexual contact, sexual harassment, and related issues at the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The survey results include incidence rates of unwanted sexual contact, sexual harassment, and gender discrimination, a discussion of students' perceptions of Academy culture with respect to unwanted sexual contact and sexual harassment, and the availability and effective of sexual assault and sexual harassment training.
