Enhancing the Breadth and Efficacy of Therapeutic Vaccines for Breast Cancer

Abstract

Over the past four years, we have optimized various systems for the identification of tumor-reactive T cells, and generated tumor-reactive T cell clones from a number of breast cancer patient samples. We have worked out killing assays to screen breast cancer patients tumor specific CD8 T cells against autologous tumor cells and breast cancer cell lines. We have identified TCR sequences from patients BC166 and BC81 CD8 T cell clones and downstream analysis of antigen specificity will be assessed by the Denver team. The identification of these T cells will lead to downstream antigen discovery.
