Voluntary Human Engineering, Global Climate Change, and N-Person Prisoners Dilemmas

Abstract

I argue that replying on human engineering as a response to global climate change will be both unjust or inefficacious (or both) as long as it is voluntary because of the possibility of n-person prisoners dilemmas.
