Installing and Executing Information Object Analysis, Intent, Dissemination, and Enhancement (IOAIDE) and Its Dependencies
Abstract
Information Object Analysis, Intent, Dissemination, and Enhancement (IOAIDE) is a novel information framework developed at the US Army Research Laboratory that supports the needs of command and control analysts as well as researchers in both algorithm and tool prototyping. It supports dynamic plugin of analysis modules, for either research or analysis tasks. The framework integrates multiple image processing algorithms, image and video feeds, and a dissemination service for the dissemination and retrieval of information objects, as well as a central database for storage and query of information objects. With the variety of services and development tools required to develop and run the IOAIDE tool, it is rather complicated to deploy the application or set up its development environment. This report is targeted at developers and users with the basic knowledge and understanding of Windows-based computer operations. The report lists the required commercial software packages and describes in intricate detail the steps involved in preparing the IOAIDE application computer for development, execution, and database setup.
