Special Purpose Systems

Abstract

SAIC supported the development and evaluation of new compositions and processing equipment. We aided in the development of new equipment that will be utilized to improve the current and future processing of countermeasures. This new equipment included equipment such as a waterless leak tester, wind stream testing, improved marking systems, and roll crimping stations and worked closely with Resodyn Corporation in creating a new mixing regimen. SAIC provided machining and milling as well as assembly to support the airborne expendable concepts. SAIC has supported Crane Army Ammunition Activity with numerous components and sub-assemblies in support of various Navy infrared expendables.
