Review of the Department of Defense Center for Deployment Health Research

Abstract

In accordance with Section 743 of the Strom Truman National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 1999 (FY99), the Secretary of Defense was authorized to establish a Center devoted to "Iongitudinal study to evaluate data on the health conditions of members of the Armed Forces upon their return from deployment."
