Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Recommendations

Abstract

At the request of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Health Protection and Readiness (DASD (FHP and R) the Pandemic Influenza (PI) Preparedness Select Subcommittee of the Defense Health Board has developed a series of recommendations regarding the Department of Defense pandemic influenza preparedness and control strategy. These recommendations are hereby submitted to the Defense Health Board for consideration, at a future open meeting of the Board.
