Genome Sequences of Eight Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Virus Strains

Abstract

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV) is a geographically widespread RNA virus with a high degree of genomic diversity that complicates sequence-based diagnostics. Here, we sequenced eight CCHFV strains for improved assay design and deposition into FDA-ARGOS, the FDAs pathogen database for development and verification of next generation sequencing assays.
