An Assessment of FY2016 Locally Developed Questions from the DEOMI Organizational Climate Survey: Recommendations and Potential Implications

Abstract

This report details the use of the 152 locally developed questions (LDQs) available to commanders on the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) Organizational Climate Survey (DEOCS). The top 15 questions were ranked across a total of 180,797 questions. The LDQs were further analyzed in terms of their corresponding 20 factors to examine which LDQs and factors are not being utilized to be better tailored to suit the needs of commanders. Recommendations are provided to improve LDQs.
