Abstract

Question: When replacing a missing maxillary anterior tooth, does a cantilever resin-bonded fixed dentalprosthesis (RBFDP) improve clinical success rates compared to a two retainer RBFDP?Clinical Bottom Line: A cantilever RBFDP demonstrates lower clinical failure rates compared to a tworetainer RBFDP to replace a missing maxillary anterior tooth.
