Signal Identification and Isolation Utilizing Radio Frequency Photonics

Abstract

Signal identification and isolation are important to applications such as radio astronomy. Radio frequency (RF) photonics can provide solutions to these areas. Spectrum analyzers can measure the frequency of signals and filters can be used to separate the signals apart from one another. This report will review different techniques for spectrum analysis and isolation.
