Abstract

With the semiconductor value-chain residingprimarily offshore, access to Trusted leading-edge Integrated Circuits (IC) are an increasing challenge for US Department of Defense acquisitions. Many studies have investigated methods of securing the global semiconductor supply chain using a variety of methods including, controlled manufacturing, device reverse engineering and various fingerprinting technologies.
