Constructivism as the Framework for International Orders

Abstract

International orders emerge to mitigate the anarchic nature of international relations in order to promote stability, prosperity, and predictability for all member states. More so than realism or liberalism, constructivism provides the most comprehensive framework to explain how international orders form and why they change.
