MicroRNA in Prostate Cancer Racial Disparities and Aggressiveness

Abstract

During this fourth year of the project, final DNA extraction (Task 1.b) was completed. Activities were focused on miRNA extraction (Task 1.c) and quantification (Task 4), which were completed at Exiqon. We evaluated associations between plasma levels of miRNAs and prostate cancer aggressiveness and submitted a manuscript describing the findings to the peer-reviewed journal (Task 5.b).
