Vapor Pressure of Antimony Triiodide

Abstract

The equilibrium vapor pressure of antimony triiodide (SbI3) has been measured over a temperature range from 20 to 47 C using a classical Knudsen cell method. An analysis of the slope of that data as a function of temperature yields an enthalpy of sublimation (Hvapor) value of Hvapor = 128.48 kJ/mol for SbI3.
