U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Based Spectroscopic Analysis via Magnetic Resonance Force Microscopy

Abstract

The overall goal of this program is to develop magnetic resonance force microscopy (MRFM) based methods for the spectroscopic identification and characterization of Department of Energy (DOE) supplied samples. Work is currently divided among three participants: (1) Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories at Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), (2) the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL), and (3) U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). This report summarizes only the work done at ARL during fiscal year 2011 (FY11).
