Analysis of Ethane and Diethylbenzene Bridged Sorbents

Abstract

This study evaluates morphological and performance characteristics for sorbents produced by Aurora Analytics, LLC (Baltimore, MD)based on an NRL-developed protocol. Materials produced using a slight variation on the mixing approach used by NRL showed morphological characteristics similar to those of the NRL produced materials. Binding affinities were slightly less for the Aurora materials while saturation capacities were slightly higher than those observed for the NRL produced materials.
