An Automated Energy Detection Algorithm Based on Consecutive Mean Excision

Abstract

This report contains the statistical analysis of some RF spectral data files. These data files were evaluated with the consecutive mean excision algorithm. The algorithm automatically established a detection threshold based on the data of the RF spectrum measurement. It was able to determine the detection threshold level even when there were signals present in the RF spectrum.
