An Automated Energy Detection Algorithm Based on Morphological and Statistical Processing Techniques

Abstract

This report is the result of applying morphological image and statistical processing techniques to the energy detection scenario of signals in the RF spectrum domain. The algorithm automatically establishes a detection threshold based on the data of the RF spectrum measurement. It is able to determine the threshold level even when there are signals present in the RF spectrum.
