Scope: 1) Describe patterns of prosthesis use and abandonment in the VA and DOD; identify the impact of amputation and prosthesis use on self-reported function, activities and participation; and identify unmet prosthetic needs; 2) conduct a one year follow-up study to examine changes in satisfaction with care and prosthetic services, self-reported function and quality of life; and 3) assess the dexterity and activity performance in upper limb amputees. Findings/Progress: This initial reporting period (30 September 2016 - 29 September 2017) focused on study start-up activities. There are no findings to report to date. Data collection is ongoing.
