FALCONS are being defined as birds belonging to the: ORDER: Falconiformes FAMILY: Falconidac SUBFAMILY: Falconinae Herpetotherinae Polihieracinae Material on the SUBFAMILY: Polyborinae will also be included when found. FALCONRY is being defined as the art or sport of training birds to attack wild fowl or game, whether the birds be falcons. hawks, owls or eagles.
