Abstract

The training of the air traffic controller Sergeant LUNA is extensive and demanding. For a successful work with the unmanned aircraft is a great comprehension and concentration necessary to the aircraft to control and evaluate the image material at the same time. For support, this training was developed in the course General Staff Service /Admiralstabsdienst national (LGAN) 2015 by Ms. Major Matuszewski, the wargame "Enhanced LUNA Warrior" the necessary characteristics of the budding aircraft Sergeant by a playful simulation of a reconnaissance mission. To estimate the abilities, the player is accompanied the wargame with operations research. About one linear optimizer will calculate an optimal flight route that shows the player how close his results are to the optimum. The aim of the seminar work is the development of a program that supports the wargame and the training of the aviation field sergeants by means of linear optimization. The optimal planning of such a flight route is already mathematically treated in the paper by Moshe Kress and Johannes 0. Royset from the year 2008 and serves as the basis of the Wargame and the linear optimization. In the seminar paper, the paper and the wargame are presented in advance.
