Rt-Space: A Real-Time Stochastically-Provisioned Adaptive Container Environment

Abstract

This project was directed at component-based soft real-time (SRT) systems implemented on multicore platforms. To facilitate the deployment of such systems, multicore resource-allocation infrastructure was developed to support stochastically provisioned SRT software components on multicore platforms. This infrastructure enables different components to be temporally isolated from one another and to be provisioned based upon average-case or near average-case task execution times.
