Social Learning Networks: From Data Analytics to Active Sensing

Abstract

A Social Learning Network (SLN) is a type of social network that exists between students, instructors, and modules of learning. Between 2015 and 2017, we completed a variety of data-driven research projects pertaining to SLN. Our work can be divided into three main thrusts: Predictive Learning Analytics (PLA),Social Learning Optimization (SLO), and Deep Learning Personalization (DLP).
