Visibility-Based Goal Oriented Metrics and Application to Navigation and Path Planning Problems

Abstract

The major goals of this project include:(1) Study a class of visibility based metrics and their sensitivity to perturbations (2) Application of the metric to un-supervised domain learning and navigation (3) Develop and analyze a novel numerical algorithm for surface and line integrals defined on geometries which areonly sampled by unstructured point clouds.
