2017 Laser Diagnostics in Combustion GRC/GRS

Abstract

The goal of this project was to organize the 2017 Laser Diagnostics in Combustions Gordon Research Conference (GRC) and associated Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) for emerging scientists and engineers. The goal of GRC was to bring together scientists and engineers with a strong interest in laser-based combustion diagnostics to discuss current approaches, latest developments, promising opportunities, and unaddressed needs for measurement techniques for probing combustion processes. The GRS, held the weekend before the GRC, was organized to bring together emerging leaders in the field at an early stage in their careers to exchange new ideas.
