Properties and Types of Significant Thermal Skin Burn Injuries

Abstract

The purpose of this RSI Implementation Guidance is to define the properties and types of thermal skin burns that should be used to classify injuries as significant or not significant. The types, properties, and classification of significance of thermal skin burns described in this document are relevant to all nonlethal weapon (NLW) systems capable of causing these types of injuries.
