Military Suicide Research Consortium: Extension to New Opportunities and Challenges

Abstract

Year 2 included funding several projects from the second round of proposals. The MSRC supports a total of 13 funded projects, including 4 long-term follow-up studies of MSRC 1.0 projects; 4 secondary data analyses of the MSRC Common Data Elements; 4 intervention studies; and 1 assessment study. The MSRC continues to provide training opportunities to future leaders in the field of military suicide research including through a joint MSRC-Army STARRS postdoctoral fellowship. The Denver staff continues to collaborate with the Florida State University site and seek guidance from its senior advisors and the Military External Advisory Board.
