Lebenszyklusbegleitende Nutzbarkeit digitaler Bauwerksinformationen (Life Cycle Accompanying Usability Digital Building Information)

Abstract

The availability of digital building information throughout the whole life cycle offers considerable economical and ecological advantages. Stakeholders and actors can apply sophisticated long-term related computer-based analyses in order to optimize the quality, sustainability and management of buildings and civil engineering structures. When the issue of long-term digital preservation is solved, upcoming integrated and semantically enriched building and city models .can be leveraged, knowledge can be conserved for future use and information loss can be reduced considerably.
