Multi Source Information Amalgamation Prototype: A Fuzzy Logic Approach

Abstract

As part of its ongoing research into the calculation of the value of information, the US Army Research Laboratory has expanded its single source Fuzzy Associative Memory model. The original model only accounted for a single source of data and calculated value based on the parameters of the data. The new model accounts for multi-source data and considers the relationship (supporting or conflicting) between the data when calculating value. This report outlines a software implementation for calculating value in the multi-source model.
