Colorimetric Environmental Sensor: Aqueous Indicator Screening (Part 2)

Abstract

This report is work focused on a component of an effort intended to develop wireless sensor networks for real-time monitoring of airborne targets across a broad area. The performance of the sensor devices will depend heavily on the selection of appropriate indicator elements in design of the arrays. This document summarizes results for aqueous screening of meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl) porphyrin (C4TPP) and metalloporphyrin (XC4TPP) variants of this structure.
